Filming 2

      This weekend my group and I were able to film. My dad drove me to Savanna’s house, where we all met up. We filmed some scenes in her dads car, mostly of us getting in and out. These scenes were filmed by one of us(the group members). There was no one else in our music video besides the people in our group. The only people that were in it other than us were the people at the public places we went to. Our transportation to all of the locations we went to was Savanna’s dad. We chose to film at the beach and the mall because those are typical music video places. We chose how to film differently in each situation. We also had to be considerate of all the other people around us.
      We started at the mall. We took a few takes of us walking into the mall by setting my phone  up on a table. Then we walked around the mall to see where would be the best fit to film. There weren’t many people in the store H&M, so we decided that was a good place. We created a short dance to go with the chorus lyrics. We set up my phone on a shelf and we took many, many shots of us doing the dance to ensure we got a usable one. It felt weird when people would watch us. We also had the song playing so that the timing was right in the dance. We also took shots of us walking in and out of the store. Looking back at the footage, all of our shots were pretty good.
      Next, we went to the beach. We walked there from the mall and it was very short. I took a pan shot of Kelly and Savanna while they were sitting in the beach. We took shots of us casually dancing. Then we set my phone up on a pillar and did the same dance as the one at the mall. We did this many times because we had to readjust the phone camera. We also took a few shots of Kelly laying down on the sand and just vibing out to the music. All of our shots were pretty much usable. We had a very successful day of filming. I definitely think we improved on our filming skills since the commercial.
